Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?

PelviCCore Physical Therapy & Wellness offers pelvic health (women only) & orthopedic physical therapy in a warm, welcoming space. Sessions are all one-on-one with a board certified physical therapist with 12 years of experience.

How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Please fill out the inquiry form on our contact page, or please call us at (708) 252-3624 & speak directly to Dr. Claire. I will walk through next steps and answer any questions along the way.

How is PelviCCore different?

PelviCCore Physical Therapy & Wellness is one-on-one personalized care. You will never be passed off to another provider during your treatment. My goal is to look outside the painful area to understand the bigger picture. My orthopedic lens allows me to look beyond the pelvis and bridge the gap between the rest of the body. At PelviCCore, I encourage all patients to be their authentic self, and feel comfortable conversing about difficult topics. My goal is for you to feel at home in your body.

How long are appointments?

The initial evaluation is 60 mins, one-on-one with Dr. Claire. At the initial evaluation, you will have time to tell your story. Dr. Claire will then determine appropriate examination based on your goals and consent.

Follow-up appointments are 55 mins.

PelviCCore also offers Dry Needling only appointments which are 30 min sessions.

Do you take insurance?

PelviCCore Physical Therapy & Wellness is an out-of-network, cash pay physical therapy practice. This allows me to provide personalized, one-on-one care without the limitations of insurance based treatment.

Payment is due at the time of service. Dr. Claire will provide you with a detailed superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement varies by insurance plan, and I recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your specific out-of-network benefits. PelviCCore does accept HSA/FSA payment methods.

Dr. Claire is happy to help navigate the process and answer any questions you may have.

How frequent is therapy?

Every patients treatment plan and frequency of therapy visits will vary depending on the patients impairments and goals. Typically treatment is 1/week or every other week. Frequency will be discussed between the patient and Dr. Claire.
